Friendship Festival Parade

Our line up number is 60 and our vehicle check in time is 11:15 a.m.

Please arrive by noon. The parade kicks off at 1:00 p.m.

The parade exits the BBCHS parking lot on the west side if you would like to catch up with us.

Use the east entrance to drop off signs and/or participants. There is very limited parking at the school parking lot.

The parade ends at the corner of Latham Drive and 102.

Top Dems Lead Trump In Head-To-Head Matchups

In a first look at head-to-head 2020 presidential matchups nationwide, several Democratic challengers lead President Donald Trump, with former Vice President Joseph Biden ahead 53 – 40 percent, according to a Quinnipiac University National Poll released this week.
In other matchups, the independent Quinnipiac (KWIN-uh-pe-ack) University National Poll finds:
  • Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders over President Trump 51 – 42 percent;
  • California Sen. Kamala Harris ahead of Trump 49 – 41 percent;
  • Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren tops Trump 49 – 42 percent;
  • South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg edges Trump 47 – 42 percent;
  • New Jersey Sen. Cory Booker by a nose over Trump 47 – 42 percent.

Illinois Democratic Women of Kankakee County

The purpose of the Illinois Democratic Women of Kankakee County is to encourage women to participate in the political process and work towards equitable representation of Democratic women in all levels of government.
Precinct Committee Persons Heather Bryan and Charlene Eads are ready to roll up their sleeves to help paint Kankakee County BLUE in 2020.
