Illinois Democratic Women of Kankakee County

The purpose of the Illinois Democratic Women of Kankakee County is to encourage women to participate in the political process and work towards equitable representation of Democratic women in all levels of government.
Precinct Committee Persons Heather Bryan and Charlene Eads are ready to roll up their sleeves to help paint Kankakee County BLUE in 2020. We hope you can join them as they build momentum in our county. They are submitting an application to become a chartered member of the Illinois Democratic Women organization.

Loyalty Day Parade

Sunday, May 5
Line up begins at noon. Please arrive by 12:30. Kickoff is at 1:00 p.m.
We will have our float in the parade and a classic car convertible from one of our county board candidates.
We are meeting up at Washington and Broadway on the south side of Broadway.
Everyone is encouraged to bring an American flag and wear red white and blue. You can walk along the parade route passing out candy or ride in the float.
Step off will be from Washington Street & Broadway, down Broadway Street and will end at Kennedy Drive, At the end of the parade, participants will enter the parking lot of Bradley West School. Refreshments will be served.
